The Informa Group Latin America has organized in September 2010 the 1st edition of the Mobile Money CALA event, and it has reached its goals in terms of offering an outstanding content and audience. The conference drew together representatives from Mobile Money Value Chain such as: Mobile Operators, Financial Institutions, Money Transfer, Payments and Banking Service Providers, Credit Card Companies and Solutions Providers that discussed the main issues to drive mobile money in the CALA region and how to help operators to increase revenues through this emerging technology.
There have been several new deployments in the region since then and 2011 attendees will be able to discuss how they are progressing, the challenges that are being faced and what is still to come for the undoubtful growth of the mobile money market in the CALA region.
